Each is carefully created and sculpted by hand, choosing accessories and fabrics that fully complement the piece. No two sculptures or figurative's are alike, nor are they duplicated. Each is a grand and beautiful piece of art to cherish forever. |
Sherry considers herself mostly self taught in sculpting although the instruction received from many internationally known teachers has been invaluable, and has been incorporated into her own style. Sherry constantly strives to refine techniques. A never ending process. A multi-talented artist, Sherry is a landscape and animal painter, a stained glass artist and an Art Doll artist. She has been creating dressed, sculpted Art Dolls for fourteen years.
Christmas has always been a special time of year for her and became even more important as her children came along. She first involved herself in Art Dolls by creating Santa's and elves, then began creating other figurative's. Now her galleries include, American Indian portrait dolls, Angels, Fairies, Character Dolls, her Ranch Hands, and Holiday Collectable's.
