KeyWest Designing

I design jewelry using a mixed media of sterling silver, copper, gemstones, pearls and more. My signature item is my Sea Horse Earrings, unique and different. My designs are one of a kind, and hopefully will be passed along from generation to generation. I use gemstones in many of my pieces, and am inspired by their properties and try to describe the benefits of wearing each piece in relation to the Chakras of your body. Nature has given us the gift of gemstones, whose organic energies help us return to our natural healthy state.

I have created with my hands since I was a little girl. Growing up I used my imagination to keep my mind busy as there was little money for "store bought dreams", Grandmother's favorite saying. My love for creating jewelry was born out of the want of a little girl I remember in a too big shirt and wind tangled hair, standing in front of store windows, in awe of the sparkle and newness. A little girl whose greatest treasures were arrowheads that had been found. If you gaze at a crystal, or hold a gemstone close to your heart, my hope is that you too will see the brilliant sun across endless blue waters and perhaps a pod of dolphins jumping far off in the oceans mist. I truly appreciate our planet's gemstones. I love shaping and pounding out sterling silver and coppers, and I am still in awe!!

I also do custom orders. And if you wish to have an item sent to a gift recipient, I'd be more than happy to do so with an enclosed note with your sentiments. Be sure to let me know when ordering if this is a gift- and very clear instructions and an address to where it needs to be sent. All items are shipped in a teal gift box with a ribbon.
